As of 1 January 2025, the Indian government has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar with PAN to apply for DSC. To make a DSC, i.e., a Digital Signature Certificate, the user needs to complete his identity verification. There are two verification methods available for Individual applicants. One is PAN verification, and the other is Aadhaar verification.
In PAN verification, the applicant needs to provide his PAN details. The system will autocheck whether the PAN is linked with Aadhaar or not. If it is not linked, then the application will not proceed further. The applicant needs to link his PAN with Aadhaar to process it later.
In the Aadhaar verification method, filling PAN details is optional. You can skip this field and use Aadhaar to complete the user’s identity verification. Click here to apply DSC without PAN
Organisation DSC
We also provide Aadhaar verification for the organisation DSC. Those organisations having separate PAN available should provide their PAN details. But for Applicant verification, we can use either the PAN or the Aadhaar verification method.
